ABOUT US
Dear Track Owners/Promoters/Fans
TSMA is a newly formed Association whose sole
purpose is promoting competition within the E
Modified division. As an organization, it is our
belief that competitors need to have the opportunity
to make reasonable choices within predetermined
guidelines; whether it is brand of tires, shocks,
chassis etc. TSMA believes that "CHOICE"
within parameters will lead to a financially healthier
race teams and therefore the potential for more
race teams within the division.
TSMA, as an Association, is a not-for-profit
concept for the mutual benefit of both racers
and track promoters that provides a year-end point
fund that will be paid by the organization. The
mentioned point fund will be accumulated from
racer membership fees, and external sponsorship
dollars. TSMA recognizes that sponsorship is a
necessity for race teams and promoters a like.
As an organization, we fully support the race
team's rights to make choices based on personal
preference, within the confines of the rules,
and their ability to develop sponsorship from
those suppliers. We also recognize the promoters
need to build their weekly racing point fund for
this division to make it more attractive to entice
more competitors.
TSMA is pleased to announce its first major point
fund contributor, LIAS TIRE/AMERICAN RACER. Lias'
commitment is sponsoring the TSMA, based on the
proportion of racers using their product. It is
their belief that the "opportunity"
for product exposure of American Racer tires,
along with an open door policy for the comparable
products from other manufacturers, makes it a
WIN-WIN for the competitors, promoters, as well
as suppliers.

TSMA CONCEPTS
The Association will promote racing at the competitor's
weekly track(s)
TSMA will not have any in season tour events that
tend to pull our cars from their local track on
a weekly basis.
Our plan is to have one race at the end of the
season which would have some influence on the
year and points total. Each point champion, from
member tracks may be a guaranteed starter.
It is our belief that we can provide an Association
that makes sense for all; including the promoters
and competitors.
Further, we believe that our Association will
set the stage for better racing within the division.
As a not-for-profit association, it is our intention
to keep it relatively small and manageable.
As the number of TSMA tracks increase, the overall
point fund will also increase.
The point fund money/awards will be delivered
at the TSMA Champions home track year-end banquet.
If the champions home track does not host a banquet,
the TSMA will distribute the money/awards via
an appropriate delivery system.
